Katie Arter, AGNP

Katie Arter, AGNP, is a board-certified cardiovascular nurse practitioner who sees patients 18 years and above.

Katie treats cardiovascular conditions, focusing on cardiac arrhythmias, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and pacemakers.

Katie uses evidence-based treatments and multi-disciplinary collaboration to care for patients. She believes in considering the whole patient, not only the diagnosis the patient may have. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Katie worked as a registered nurse in the advanced cardiac care unit at Missouri Baptist Medical Center for five years.

Born and raised in Florissant, Missouri, Katie lives in Jefferson County with her family and dog. When she isn’t caring for patients, Katie enjoys boating, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Katie completed her medical training at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
